About This Event

What is pilot training really like?

Join Spartan Flight Academy for Pilot Training Experience Day, an in-person event designed to give prospective students and their families a closer look at the flight training environment.

The event will begin with a live Q&A panel featuring three different perspectives on the pilot training journey - Chief Pilot, Flight Instructor & an SFA Alumni.

The panelists will share their experiences and answer questions about what students can expect during training, how instructors support student progress, and what prospective pilots should consider before getting started.

Topics may include:

  • What early flight lessons can look like
  • How students work with their flight instructors
  • Training schedules and preparation
  • Common milestones and challenges
  • The transition from student to Certified Flight Instructor
  • Advice for prospective students
  • What panelists wish they had known before beginning flight training

Following the live panel, attendees will have the opportunity to continue exploring the flight training experience.

Guests can:

  • View static displays of training aircraft
  • Explore flight simulators
  • Speak directly with flight instructors
  • Ask additional questions about training
  • Meet with the admissions team
  • Learn more about the steps involved in getting started at Spartan Flight Academy

Whether you are ready to begin flight training or are still exploring whether pilot training is right for you, this event offers an opportunity to hear real perspectives, see the training environment and get your questions answered in person.

*Aircraft and simulator access are subject to availability.
