Future Aviators Scholarship

Future Aviators Scholarship

The Future Aviators Scholarship was created to make flight training more accessible to motivated high school students who are ready to explore aviation. Many young adults are curious about flying but have never had the opportunity to take the first step or believe that aviation training may be out of reach. This scholarship is designed to introduce students to structured flight training, support early aviation education, and help them see that a future in aviation training is attainable.

Scholarship Details

The Future Aviators Scholarship provides financial assistance to help high school students begin their aviation training journey.

The scholarship covers 10 percent of the published cost of eligible training as outlined in the scholarship guidelines. The purpose of this award is to help reduce the initial financial barrier to starting flight training while encouraging students to take meaningful steps toward continued involvement in aviation.

Application Process and Timing

Students apply by completing the online scholarship application and submitting a written statement describing their aviation goals, motivation for pursuing flight training, and their short-term and long-term plans in aviation. Applicants may also be asked to provide documentation of aviation involvement and letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or aviation professionals.

Applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis, with deadlines at the end of each calendar quarter. Selected scholarship recipients will be notified by email within four weeks following the application deadline for the quarter in which they applied.

All applications are evaluated using consistent criteria to ensure each student is considered fairly based on their demonstrated interest in aviation, level of commitment, and readiness to begin structured flight training.
